UFO expert Jaime Maussan presented two alleged “non-human” bodies at the Mexican Congress, claiming they are 1,000 years old and possess a genetic composition 30% distinct from humans. The bodies were discovered in a mine in Peru and displayed features such as three-fingered hands, elongated skulls, and lightweight bones. One of the beings was said to be carrying eggs with embryos and had implants made of cadmium and osmium metals.

Jaime Maussan, who had in the past been involved in questionable claims that were later debunked, introduced these specimens in enclosed glass cases to the public. According to scientists from UNAM, a substantial portion of the DNA derived from these specimens cannot be categorised. Reportedly, more than 30% of the DNA had no known parallels, after performing radiocarbon dating and comparing it to existing samples.
