India is now No 1 team in all three formats of the game

In the T20 rankings, India is on top with a rating of 264 and 15,589 points

In Test format India is on top with 3,434 points and a rating of 118

India have moved Pakistan to become the No.1 ranked team in ODIs ahead of the World Cup at home. As a result, they now occupy the top spot across formats,
having already been No.1 in Tests and T20Is. India are only the second team in men’s cricket history to achieve this South Africa did it First in August 2012

India is now the world’s best ODI team with a rating of 116 and 4,864 point

India displaced Pakistan from the top of the ODI rankings while they lead England in the T20I rankings. In the longest format, they are in the first place while Australia are right behind them

India also have four players occupying the No. 1 positions across formats: Suryakumar Yadav is the No.1 batter in T20Is, Mohammed Siraj is the No.1 bowler in ODIs while R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are at the top of the bowling and allrounder charts in Tests.

Suryakumar Yadav made his first-class debut against Delhi during the 2010-11 Ranji season. He had a great start to his career as he top-scored for Mumbai with a ell compiled 73 and was the only player to score a fifty in Mumbai’s first innings.

He is the current vice-captain of the Indian National Cricket Team

On September 17 2023, in the Asia Cup final, Siraj became the joint fastest bowler to take a 6 wicket haul in ODIs equaling Chaminda Vaas’s record of taking 5 wicket in 16 balls against Bangladesh in 2003 World Cup.
He ended with a career best figure of 6/21 and also became the 1st Indian to take 4 wickets in an over.

Ravindra Jadeja is the 8th highest ODI wicket taker for India with 194 wickets.
