Design and Build
The Mate X6 is a marvel of engineering, with a slim and lightweight design that makes it easy to carry around. Weighing in at 239g and measuring just 4.6mm/9.9mm (unfolded/folded), this device is a true powerhouse. The phone’s magnetic snap closure and ability to stand on its own when folded are thoughtful touches that enhance the user experience.
Display
The Mate X6 features two stunning LTPO OLED displays: a 6.45-inch cover screen with a standard 20:9 aspect ratio and a 7.93-inch internal screen with a near 1:1 aspect ratio. These displays are nearly identical to those found on the Honor Magic V3, but they outshine those of other popular foldables like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Camera Capabilities
The Mate X6 boasts an impressive camera system, featuring a 50 MP main unit with a variable f/1.4-f/4.0 aperture, a 40 MP ultrawide camera, and a 48 MP periscope telephoto camera. Selfies are captured by two 8 MP units. While we’ve only had a brief chance to test the camera, initial impressions are promising.
